Apple announces new bands and watch faces for Apple Watch to celebrate Pride
This year's pride event will be virtual but it hasn't stopped Apple in releasing new watch faces
With the coronavirus restrictions still in play across the world, although some have been more relaxed, this year's pride event will be a virtual one.
And although it might not be as we thought, out on the streets having a party to celebrate, those with an Apple Watch can get customising to celebrate in style!
Apple have released two new colourful watch faces and two new watch bands to kick-start the 2020 pride event that starts in June.
The first Pride band that Apple has created is a slight twist on the current Nike Sport bands that are on offer. The band itself is white with colours of the rainbow showing inside the holes in the band and the second band is basically a coloured stripy rainbow across the whole band.
Each band costs £49 each and can be brought via Apple's website.
As well as the new Watch straps for Pride, Apple have also created new Pride watch faces to match the style of the bands. There's a coloured rainbow watch face to match the rainbow themed band and for the Nike Sport watch face, it features a black background and rainbow coloured dots to represent the time.
When watchOS 6.2.5 is released very soon, an update to watchOS 6, you'll be able to use the new Pride watch faces on your Apple Watch.
