Everyone knows this Christmas tune
Christmas is only five days away and we're still counting down some of the greatest (and sometimes latest) Christmas tunes to get you in the mood.
This time, we're sure everyone knows this tune: it's a staple Christmas song that gets everyone singing each year.
"Do They Know It's Christmas" by Band Aid was first recorded on 25 November 1984 and was written by legend Bob Geldof and Midge Ure. It was released on 3 December 1984.
"Do They Know It's Christmas?" entered the UK Singles Chart at number one. It managed to stay there for five weeks, meaning it was the Christmas number one of 1984!
It has since, though, been re-recorded, back in 2014 by popular artists of the time. Stars featured on the track are: Olly Murs, Ed Sheeran, One Direction, Sam Smith and Bob Geldof's in the group, too. A new group was formed, named, Band Aid 30.
